Based upon our research into change, crisis, market place regeneration and additionally the work of W. Edwards Deming here are Teetch's recommendations:

When you're not sure what to do, refocus all of your efforts on quality, not just reducing variation and increasing consistency and value but placing emphasis on making people sure of at least seven key concerns using the acronym below:

Q

Quality focused

be sure of the basics, focus your efforts on increasing quality, decreasing cost or decreasing time to market

U

Uncertainty should be reduced
make your people sure of you, their relationship with you and what (even if only a little) they can be 'certain' of

A

Attentive generosity
make them sure of being heard, be a listener they can rely on

L

List your accomplishments
be sure of the past, deliverables, successes, post-implementation reviews, lessons learned, resume, curriculum vitae

I

Individuals reconnected to groups
make them sure of support and their group relationships, reconnect them with likeminded people, communities and peers

T

Turn in tide
be sure you're investing now by preparing for the turn in the tide of business, be ready to be the first out of the gate

Y

You not me
be sure of your relationship with your customers, get closer to them, how can you help them
